📸 NETWORKING EVENT RECAP
Alumni Connections at the Michigan Watch Party 🏆!

2024 has kicked off with a bang! Last night, the stars aligned as my college Alma Mater, the University of Michigan, clinched the College Football National Championship after a 26-year wait. Go Blue!

I had the privilege of soaking in the victory at a University of Michigan Black Alumni watch party in Manhattan.

Amidst the cheers and celebrations, a realization struck me - the incredible individuals I met during my college years have evolved into some of the most successful, accomplished, and intelligent people I know.

Witnessing their achievements at a high level fills me with gratitude for the remarkable network I've cultivated. Here are a few below who are doing great things in their respective fields. Joel Scott, DeRonn Kidd, Savannah Onwochei, Kange Kaneene, and Ron Johnson are all achieving at a high level and we are grateful to have them as friends and Members of our LEVELUP in NYC Network.

Two Networking Tips: Plug into your Alumni Association and Build a Winning Team 🥇

  1. Plug into Your Alumni Association: Your college alumni association is a treasure trove of opportunities to expand and cultivate your personal and professional network. Attend alumni events and reconnect with old friends on LinkedIn - these connections are invaluable.

  2. Build Your Winning Team: Just like University of Michigan Football's path to victory, success in life, love, and career hinges on surrounding yourself with the right team, coaches, and environment. This year, consider tapping into the expertise of professionals like Pervis Taylor, an exceptional life coach, or my fellow Michigan Alum, Ron Johnson, a skilled business coach, to ensure you're on the winning track. We all need a supportive team and guidance to achieve our goals.
