LEVELUP in NYC Hosts Inaugural Holiday Soirée, Connecting NYC’s Most Ambitious Professionals
New York City, December 4, 2025 – After the success of its first mixer, LEVELUP in NYC returned with its inaugural Holiday Soirée, bringing together over 400 ambitious professionals, creators, entrepreneurs, and investors for an unforgettable night of celebration, connection, and recognition. Held at the iconic DL venue, the event combined a holiday party, community awards ceremony, and the birthday celebration of founder Ryan McBride, solidifying LEVELUP in NYC’s position as the premier digital media hub for career networking in New York City.

The evening honored leaders and community builders who are shaping NYC’s professional and cultural landscape:
Allie Joy Tsahey received the Visionary Award for her work building Baddies in Tech the premier tech hub for women of color in Tech
Curtis Quow was recognized for creating the New York Entrepreneur Mixer (NYREM)
Chao Williams earned the Community Plug Award for curating NYC’s best restaurants, parties, and experiences on TikTok and Instagram

LEVELUP in NYC’s Holiday Soirée was more than just an awards event. The evening featured structured networking with conversation starters and interactive games, giving attendees the opportunity to make meaningful connections across industries. The networking activities were led by our friends at Reforum Consulting. Guests also enjoyed crafted cocktails, curated music, and a lively DJ set, creating an atmosphere that blended professional growth with celebration.

In the spirit of giving back, a portion of ticket sales supported the Official NYC Toys for Tots Campaign, helping ensure children across the city receive gifts this holiday season. The event also offered sponsorship opportunities for brands, providing visibility through LevelUp in NYC’s newsletter and social media channels, which collectively reach over 40,000 NYC professionals and creators.

The Holiday Soirée reflects LevelUp in NYC’s growing influence as a platform for NYC networking events and professional development. From celebrating community leaders to fostering connections among ambitious professionals, the event highlighted how intentional networking and community building can lead to both career growth and cultural impact.
